COPAD (Concern for Public Accountability and Development) is a registered institution with the
Corporate Affairs Commission. We are a non- governmental, non-profit making organization.
The organization was created by well-meaning Nigerians majorly based in Lagos Nigeria, with
the sole purpose of giving back to the society in the Educational sector.

What We Have Done
COPAD has organized FREE TRAINING for school owners and teachers in this category. This was achieved by bringing on board as facilitators, successful persons of excellent backgrounds in the educational sector to moderate these sessions. These trainings were solely funded by the board members with no input from external persons or organizations.

Target Audience
The target audience include school owners and teachers in low income earned schools with school fees with the range of N25,000 (Twenty-Five Thousand Naira Only) and below within the Lagos metropolis, who cant afford to train their members of staff and don’t have the opportunity to attend training to help boost their knowledge and impact on the students in their schools.

Joining COPAD is the result of being fed up with the status quo, enough to make a conscious effort to be different and a strong desire to be part of the movement committed to change the negative narrative about Nigeria through education.
What COPAD (Concern for Public Accountability and Development) plan to do.
Training
To remotely and synchronously train teachers from low income schools in various local governments in Lagos through technology and small groups at various community resource centers to be established in these local governments.
Contact Resource for Trainings
To reach out and to work with NGOs in these local governments to volunteer their spaces as community resource center for the pilot training of these teachers.
Facilitators for Trainings
To run the first training at the spaces of these NGOs and use the content as publicity material/marketing tool to get funding for adequate set up of community resource centers for Teachers in these local governments (with laptops, generators, ACs etc.)
Supervisory Role Establishment
To establish a strong relationship with these NGOs who would serve as anchor persons for COPAD as well as take on supervisory role so as to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training.
Contact Resource Persons
To make contact resource persons for a lost of suitable NGOs in various local governments especially NGOs that are tech and education related
